Ok.... now i cant decide b/t 4300 vs 6000... Do I want the cool blueish tint or OEM look.... hmmm

Seems like more people are getting the 6k bulb rather than 4300... and people who had 4300 are upgrading to 6k.... and "few" 6000 owners are going back to 4300....

I know there has been multiple discussion about this... but I. myself, cannot decide...

kormaster,

I first order the 6000k kit for my in law's GX. Cool color, but it was too blue for me on the road. We then ordered tge 4300k kit for our GX...much more light output onto the road. I;m glad I went with the 4300k.

Kormaster,
As stated by Capirato and XenonDepot site, it's $380 for 4300K. Were you able to get any additional discounts (i.e. clublexus member discount)?
Thanks

Can someone post a detail step to step do it yourself conversion?

Also is it necessary to disconnect the battery?

Afterwards do I need to reset anything in the computer?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Cap, since you are The Man, (I followed you're DVD bypass, Nav overide, copied your Sirius install), I'm ready to step up to HID's. If you had to do it all over again..... Low beam,High beam, Fogs? What would you do, company, brand, price, etc.? Since you are the resident expert! Thanks again for any advise! CcS

Default HIDs

Cliff......

If I had to do it over again, I would go with 4300K. As to which company, I would go with ProXenon again, but they don't have 4300K and their price is higher than XenonDepot who is a sponsor of Club Lexus.

Default Question for Cap-- Why would you go with "Proxenon" and 4300K units? (m)

From what I can see, the majority of the installs here use the xenondepot brand. What makes proxenons different, other than the fact that they are 6000K only? Is a proxenon install any different/easier/harder?

Also, am I correct that the 4300s are more like OEM and brighter? I am interesting more in a natural white light and more of it than having an un-natural blue tint.

Thanks--

Jim

Cap, I thought I saw a pic you posted with a 6500K and 9005(100W) Super white? Is one for low beams, and the other high? What are you thoughts on fog lights - overkill I'd guess? I am a mere mortal in your presence!
Thanks, CcS

Cliff.....

Yes you did see my picture. But you asked me, what would I do if I had to do it over again.
