Anyone who has Levinson system and installed an aftermarket overhead DVD.
Would you let me know 1) if Levinson system has pre-wires for overhead DVD and 2) how easy is it easy to install an after market overhead DVD?

I don't have the Levinson system, but I do have an aftermarket overhead monitor. If the Levinson system doesn't come with the wires it will be very difficult to install. My audo guy had a hell of a time doing it b/c there are front and rear side curtain airbags. You have to be extra careful about the wiring so that if you get into an accident, the deployment of the side curtain airbags won't catch any wiring and rip anything apart.

 

There are no prewires to tie into the existing Levinson system.

 

So we have to use the FM module if we want sound through the speakers???
