Air suspention only starts working only after pressing up/down
I am wondering if anyone has seen this before. When the car starts, the air suspension doesn't start at all, no matter how long I drive, [so the rear will slow lower]. However, if I click the up or down suspension button, the air suspension starts to work perfectly. It doesn't matter if the car sits overnight, or if I just turn it off and on.
Any rear suspension issues….the first place to look is for pinholes leaks in the airbags. There are many many posts here that should leave you to a diagnosis

Then the next thing to look at is the height sensors. Since you're in California, rust shouldn't be a concern .. but check them anyway.

sensors and the rest of the suspension works great. All the information provided via Techstream is correct all test are fine.
However, systems starts working only after you press up or down button. Prior to it, compressor doesn’t quick off (and yes both sensors shows up to -70mm hight from normal).

Thanks,
I have same issue. The car slowly dropped during the cold days. Start and drive the car doen't bring it up. Only press the up/down button brings it to level.

Just wondering, did you ever modify the ride height in the Techstream ? [i.e., in software, not by adjusting the sensors mechanically]
