Hey there. I just bought an 08 GX. I have one key for it. It was suggested that instead of just getting a couple of key Fobs, that I get a remote starter that has Fobs that come with it. What is a good remote starter that will work well with my GX? Am I on the right track?

I got the viper. Works great…unbelievable distance.

 

If you lose your 1 key, no amount of remote starter fobs will help you. Get the spare key IMO.

I've used compustar remote starters in a number of vehicles, I've been happy with them.

 

I'll second the Viper choice. I did the limited-range one, but it works like a charm. Going on three years with no issues. Though I'd still get an extra "key" made just in case

 

i have the Viper long range 2 way i installed myself... love DEI products... had the Python equivalent in my 2GS... still going strong over 15 yrs...

viper does not interfere with factory system…2 pushes to start, one to unlock doors….you lock it with Lexus key/remote
