I'm looking at getting a stainless steel brake line set. I spent a few minutes looking at the rears under the GX and didn't really notice any banjo fittings but in the stainless steel kits of 6 lines, 2 front, 4 back, it appears two of the brake lines have banjo fittings. Am I looking at the right set of lines?
Are there good options for the set of brake lines aside from this set?

@ALAN553 - there are two additional flexible lines in the rear to carry fluid from the frame to the axle.

Yea…that may be, but only changed 2 front, 2 back and 460 calipers and rotors up front…stops like a Lexus now.

@chiph9 or anyone. Do you know of a kit online which contains all 6 lines?

Looks like you’ve already found a kit with 6 lines, no?

Thats the right set. The two lines with banjo fittings are for your rear calipers. Crawl under yours and look again.

Its time for me to get the front and rear brakes and rotors replaced, so I'm planning to upgrade to the GX460 setup and go with the Power Stop Z36 kit mentioned above and the flexible lines. Hope those who went with Power Stop upgrade are still happy with the results as I don't want to spend so much on the OEM because of the cost. This thread already has really good info, but please feel free to share any tips or advice if you have any based on your experience. Will start looking around to find a seller because I think RockAuto is out of it right now.

I also need to replace CV axles and inner/outer tie rods so will search the threads on that topic as well.

My mechanic thinks that the 2010 calipers may not fit and rub since I have bigger tires (285/70/17). Does anyone have experience using this kit with bigger tires?

First…isn’t it about the wheel size fitting around calipers? The stock wheel fit

I got the Method 17" wheels with 0 offset an 4.75 backing. Since they stick out more than stocks, I assume the calipers should fit?

Fit was not an issue with OEM 17" wheels, can't speak to your aftermarket wheels

No disrespect to your mechanic but if he thinks bigger calipers may not fit with bigger tires, you need to find a new mechanic.
With regards to brakes, I’m very pleased with the Z 36 package. I have used these brakes, rotors and pads, on both my GX, and they have performed flawlessly. More braking power than stock for sure.
