Not sure if I will get a loaner not to worried about it though, will say there customer service is GREAT. BTW how many miles are on your GS.

its a differant enginge ,when i go to pick it up tommorow ill ask the service manager he,s real cool
do you have a bad idle and use a lot of oil, because every 2500 miles i had to add a quart, so they zip tied the dip stick and checked it after 2500 miles ,then they called corparate the they gave the go ahead for the recall

A quart every 2500 miles is not that bad. Lexus specs call for 600 miles a quart.

My 07GS350AWD consumes about 1/2 Qt every 1500 miles.

the only thing is you change your oil every 5000 so by then your down 2 quarts and if you drive it hard you may have damage to your motor ,im not arguing with the service manager i get a free rebuild

600 miles a quart?? Seems like you would be just about out of oil by the time an oil change was needed.

Lexus won't consider a high consumption unless the car consumes a quart in 600 miles.
I top off 1/2 Qt every 1500 miles.
