NEW MODS: GReddy SE (Spectrum Elite) & Breed wheels
Well, like I said before. Finally did it, took me forever to figure out what I wanted but I finally did it.
I've always liked the GReddy exhaust systems, too bad they only make the EVO model for our cars. On a car like the 3GS, its wayyy too sporty. I like shiny pans with nice tips, so it was either buy some mufflers/tips and have them cut off my stock muffler and weld the new stuff on or full custom piping. Wasn't set on doing ANY that so I ended up getting the GReddy SE (Spectrum Elite) that was made for the IS250/IS350. I really wanted to get the GReddy SP2 (no burned tips) but they have been discontinued. Took it to a muffler shop and had them do the custom work of making it fit. They did an excellent job at it! The tips actually go past my rear lip!!!!
Excuse the crappy photos and dirty exhaust:

And of course, another set of loaner wheels. This time Breed Wheels let me ride on a set. Of course I have to shoot the car, but that is to come. These are more aggressive compared to the iSS Forged I had but, damn I love it!!! You can best bet that my next and hopefully final set of wheels will be aggressive!
I'm not sure about the offsets on them but its a typical set up for the 3GS.
Model: Breed Wheels Wing 5
Finish: 2 Tone Face and Glossy Black Lip with a Brush Lip Stripe
Front: 20x8.5 offsets unknown - 245/30-20 Falken FK452
Rear: 20x10 offsets unknown - 275/30-20 Falken FK452

So far the exhaust sounds great. 1.5-3k a nice mellow tone from inside the car. Haven't really heard it while someone drove my car, but I don't care about the noise. Anything above 3k it's dead silent. Thought it would be opposite, but whatever less noise is good. I wasn't so much for the power or noise, but more for looks. Maybe its me, but the car feels like it picks up a little quicker. MAYBE a Joe Z intake coming soon? Mod bug is getting to me. Not sure how the Tanabe exhaust sounds to this but I know I picked the right exhaust for me.
I'll probably do the photoshoot next week of the car and exhaust. So stay tuned!

Exhaust sits good with your kit. How is the other side? Curious if they both sit pretty flush. I know we had to put in extra work on my custom exhaust to make both sides sit perfect.
Still like your 360 wheels the best. When are the final rims coming??

exhaust looks great
i was afraid of tips being too short even on the 'stock' rear bumper, but i guess this can be all customized? would you mind sharing little more detail?
car looks very nice as always, can't wait to see more pics.

The only cons I have to the exhaust is that GReddy didn't make one for the 3GS so modding it to fit was needed. MAYBE a little more noise in the mid to top end range but I'm not complaining.
Pros are of course the looks. It's exactly what I wanted. Not loud, looks good and fits the car pretty well (cosmetically).
If we ever do a photoshoot with your car, I'll give you a ride.
Sound clips won't show much. Inside the cabin you probably won't hear much. I might have a video in production for the car so stay tuned if that happens.
Both sides sit flush and pretty close to perfect. Yeah, they had to do extra work to make it happen but overall I am satisfied with how everything turned out.
The wheels... I'm not sure. They have to run production on the barrels or for one of them. It's worth the wait for me, something new that I haven't seen done yet.
I like the 360s as well but it was too much cleaning. Too many spokes.
Yeah the oem exhaust was about an inch or two short with the lip on. Looked ugly so I pulled the tips out a little to make them sit flush.
As for the exhaust, when we first started the whole thing was short like 3-5"! They ended up cutting off the muffler from the rear where the piping starts out and adding extentions. Also the flange where the axle back piping attaches to the mid pipes had to be redone in order to fit. The hangers were extra long as well on the muffler, they were cut as well. All of the GREddy piping was used, some of it was extended. Nothing extremely hard to do.
