Default New LEXUS owner needs Help!!

Hello everyone . So I just purchased a very beautiful 2002 GS300 and it is my first Lexus am boy am I impressed. Unfortunately the top rubber/weatherstripping around the moonroof (which totally works) needs replacing. I am great at following instructions and was hoping someone might be able to guide me thru removing the glass from the moonroof as I was told it needed to be removed to replace the rubber weatherstripping. Any of your valuable knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Also I believe I need to drop the headliner as well so any guidance in that department would be appreciated as well.

Here are the R &R instructions for the entire Moon-roof assembly. I don't know what is needed to replace the weatherstripping but hopefully these instructions can help you.

2. Remove the front door inside scuff plates, rear door inside scuff plates, rear seat side garnishes, front door opening trims, rear door opening trims, rear personal lights, assist grips, sun visors and inner rear view mirror. See Fig 1.
3. Remove the map assembly. Using a screwdriver, remove the lens and cover. Remove the 4 screws and map lamp assembly. Disconnect the connectors.
4. Remove the front pillar garnishes. Using a screwdriver, open the cover. Remove the bolt. Remove the front pillar garnish and cover.
5. Remove the center pillar lower garnishes. Using a screwdriver, remove the center pillar lower garnish.
6. Remove the center pillar upper garnishes. Remove the 2 screws. Using a screwdriver, remove the center pillar upper garnish.
7. Remove the roof side inner garnishes. Using a screwdriver, remove the roof side inner garnish. Remove the 3 screws and roof side inner garnish spacer.
8. Remove the holders by removing the 2 screws.
9. Remove the roof headlining. Remove the opening trim. Release the 3 clips and fastener tapes to remove the roof headlining. Remove the 6 screws and 2 side rail spacers.
10. Remove the moon roof garnishes. See Fig 2.
11. Remove the moon roof glass. Remove the 4 nuts. Pull the glass upward to remove it.
12. Remove the moon roof housing. Disconnect the connector. Remove the 4 clips and disconnect the 4 drain hoses from the housing. Remove the 12 bolts and 6 brackets. Remove the 6 nuts and moon roof housing from the body.
13. For installation, reverse the removal procedure.

Also make sure clogged drains are not the cause of the issue before you go thru all this work.
