Since getting my NA-T project done jast June and having the car street tuned, I hadn't taken it to the dyno to see how much power the car actually made. From owning a previous turbo car, my "butt dyno" told me the car made between 350 and 375whp. On Saturday I finally stopped guessing.
you gonna crank up the boost or just leave it like that?
Boost is gonna be at 12psi until I switch to a full standalone. I only have a fuel computer right now and my tuner didn't want to turn up the boost with no way of controlling the timing. My intention was to have the boost turned up to 17 or 18psi but 12 it is for now. Next stop is the body shop in a couple of weeks.

T&R racing on Merrick Blvd in Queens. There is also TSA Dyno up the same block across the street.
i bet it must be a blast to drive I'm surprise you let them hook those front straps on your wheels
Yeah it's always been a blast to drive. I really had no choice as far as the straps went. My car is extremely low and there really wasn't any good points to strap it from under the front.

Thanks. You should make more torque than me when your car is tuned right?

Nice! Forgive me for my ignorance but an "NA-T" build is basically taking a stock GS300 and putting a turbo on it right? If this is the case did you beef up the tranny or engine internals? If not how does the engine run under load? How is the tranny holding up?
Sorry for so many questions but I am shooting to keep my GS400 at around that power level when I throw my SC on. I am a little nervous about the engine and tranny at those power levels and I like to pick the brain of those that "been there, done that."
