if u woulda posted this up BEFORE hand i could have shown you a product most HVAC places including us sell that woulda kept you from having to remove the dash and would probably have fixed the little pin hole leak

be the BEST time to replace those servo's btw, couldnt have any easier access to them... lol

it took about 6 hours . i have done acura and recently done e46 evaporator. i must say this one was the easiest. i bought the car with a low leak and they try fixing it but it didn't work. evap was only like $280+ the expansion valve. done the work myself now shes good for another 100K

also the slow leak didn't bother me, it was the freon smell that was killing me .

Hey do tell whats that product you guys use to block holes in the HVAC system. Can someone introduce it into the system to prevent leaks or is it recommended to be put in after a leak has been detected?

Good work on it you guys are right it isnt as bad as it looks i not too long ago had to remove the dash on a Lincoln town car just to get to the heater core.
i have a question- did you remain with any srews or bolts after this job..

its recommended to add to the system AFTER a leak. this wont seal a dime sized leak though, its made for small pin hole leaks. i used it personally in my 1993 es300, i was adding a little under a pound a year and it sealed it right up

it can be added to the r-134a no problems and will run 10-15 degrees cooler. its amazing! the hotshot is also available in a 10oz can although the standard can for it is a 25lb jug
