Default Best way to match inner headlights with outer OEM HIDs?

Yes, I searched. Please don't shoot

I want to get my inner headlights to match the outer OEM HIDs. What is the best bulb or method for doing this?

Thanks

I would say go with a hyper-white LEDs. Particularly, look for 5-led refractors. I've tried several different types of wedge bulbs and these seem to match and look the best. I do have 6000K HID bulbs, but even with stock 4300K HID bulbs, they did match nicely before I swapped them out.

You can check Ebay. The seller's name is jp_warden or something along those lines. I have purchased from this seller on several occasions and everything has been great. GL!

Did you search the lights forum?

Another alternative is posted on this thread.

I just got the bulbs that were recommended so I'll be installing them this weekend and see how well they match up.

I have the v-led 4-LEDS doesn't match. They are too blue, but would only look good on 5000k and 6000k. The closest would be the Polarg M4, but they are not that bright. You can get them on EBAY.

I would give these a try. They're pure white with no blue tint so they should match 4300k HID better.

I just installed them and yup they're too blue.

I did have the Polarg M4 and they are the right shade, but too dim like you say.

The V-LEDs are brighter which I like a lot.

So I have a choice to either get 5 k bulbs or try out what Chrispy suggested below.

Are the Polarg M4's dimmer than stock? I am truthfully not all that concerned with maximum light output as long as it's at least as bright as stock and matches the outers.

Thanks for the help guys

Polarg M4 is the best match hands down. They are the same wattage as the stock bulbs, but they have blue coating, so technically they wont be as bright as stock bulbs. With that being said, you wont see the difference in brightness, you would need some kind of device to actually measure the lumens.

Alternatively you can install Polarg M6, but they are higher wattage, and I heard of them exploding inside the housing from the heat, and then you have to take out the headlight to get all the crushed glass out.

I used the 5-led bulbs from warden_jp2002 on ebay too, they were by far the best looking bulb I used but the shade didn't match my 6000k's which have a slight purplish color. If your HID's have a little more blueish color I would try these out. They lit up the high beam housing better than anything I've seen.

I've got the Polarg's in right now and hate them, the color is fine but they are not nearly bright enough, the housing still looks very dingy. I'm gonna look around but if I can't find anything better than these I'm taking them out.

I ordered the bulbs that chrispy recommended. We'll see

I have had the PolarGs for years.

People have been recommending them as the best choice for years.

They're good, but not 100% perfect.

So with the evolution of LED technology and a lot of different vendors now selling different versions, it's time for me to check em out.

I can always go back to my Polar Gs

I share pretty much the same thoughts.

Since I have 5K bulbs, the Ebay may work for me.
