Default Car wash = wet floor board.

noticed some soap suds on my passenger side rubber floor mat, and some water on the channels(meant for trapping fluid/mud etc).

I have a little water that got the carpet, and when I opened the glove box, the cabin filter was soaked too.

Short of pouring more water on the windshield, what should I do to try and seal the leak.

Anyone had this happen(search turns up a lot of a/c related issues), and*thankfully* this isnt coolant leaking.

Hasn't happened to me so don't know what to tell you. Sounds like some piece of rubber or something used to deflect the water away has deteriorated or has fallen off. Shouldn't be that hard to find. Post up when you figure it out and fix it.

OT: Where did you mount the Zapco? I've got 2 that are in my closet waiting for install some time this decade.

If you can't figure it out soon take it to the dealership and see if they can find the leak, you don't want water getting in your car everytime it rains ...

OT as well: sorry if i sound stupid but what is zapco? never heard of it

if you've had your windshield replaced before, make sure the seal on the windshield is good. that was the problem i had on my civic. took it to a cheap windshield replacement spot... cheap windshield but their labor to install it was ****ty as hell

Check the conditon of the window/door seals as well as the seals on the sunroof. Lexus (Toyota) rubber seals are top quality but will deteriorate over time.

A poor quality windshield replacement is also one of the usual suspects.

Sounds like your windshild. Try useing a air gun or a hair blow dryer and have someone blow agaist the winshild to find where the may be. And also concider checking the drain system where the windshild blade sits on. You may have a crack

random pix, thought it may give u an idea.

Open your hood and check your firewall. It's the rubber piece that connects the wiring from under the hood, to your dash area. It might be damaged. If it is, take some sealant, and seal that puppy =]

Have 2 people check it, one outside spraying water gradually, another inside to check for water?

Another thought especially since it wa sin your cabin filter would be that it got into your fresh air vent bat the hood cowl area and ran into the hvac housing and onto the floor. This would explain why it wa son your florr and the cabin filter. but it is possible that the windshield is F%*ked up also, only problem with that is if it was the windshield you'd more than likely here a windnoise. Part of my job at work is dealing with stuff like this so I'm kinda used to it.

sorry about the delayed response. Picked up a mustang that has me on ford forums all day lol.

top left..it was perfect, this box was built specifically for my 02 TL-S, and it fit PERFECT in my trunk, with just enough clearance for the amp and some breathing room.
