LED Tails Installed. Inners + Outers. Pix Inside!
Here's the original thread about it.

Here are the pictures of the tails
Everything is packed up nice and tight.
Pieces are individually wrapped and separated.
Lights in plastic packaging.
They're very high quality pieces. The lens is very very shiny and glossy.
Left Side
Right Side
Rear. This is the second version with the load resistors. I rather have the first version without though. I mean the whole point of having LED tails is to reduce electrical load. The load resistor defeats the whole purpose! I already pulled out the bulb out indicator so thats not really an issue for me.
Close up of the load resistor box. They even put some aluminum heat insulation on the housing adjacent to the resistor.
Made by Sonar. Same company that does the JP/Wise tails.

Installation tip. Here's the hidden plug you have to pull out. After that, pull out the whole cord thru the rubber grommet.
Thats a shot of the outside.
The inner tails. Remove the two 10mm nuts then disconnect the plug. Install new LED's in reverse order.
It comes with these chrome buls. Yeah it looks nice, but the light output is PATHETIC!! It's about 1/3 or 1/2 the output of stock. I've already placed an order for the PIAA mirror orange bulbs.
LED vs Stock. No brake pedal. Oh yea, my battery is also half dead so the LED's aren't showing full potential.
Brake pedal pressed with reverse lights and blinkers on. The reverse lights on the new tails are about 2-3x brighter than stock due to the bigger reflective area of the inner housing. This is still with the battery dead.
Here's a view of all LED tails installed. No brake pedal. I finally jumped the car and started it up so the LED's are MUCH brighter now.
Pic with the brake pedal pressed in.
Overall I'm pretty satisfied with these new LED taillights. It's made by the same factory that does the WISE/JP pieces. So now the big question is who wants my original tails. I'm selling it as a set of all 4 pieces. My car is an 05' so the tails are pretty much "like new" condition. Keep your eyes peeled in the classifieds section today if you're interested

Custom made from the 3rd cat all the way out back. Resonators and mufflers removed. I was too cheap to pay for new tips because I knew this was just a tempoary setup....heh
I'm gonna put my L-tuned exhaust back on pretty soon. It's waaay too loud right now heh. My friends can hear me coming about a mile away

These LED tailights are now on the mods list for me cuz they do look nice. I have to admit that one night I was behind a motorcoach bus with it's LED blinker on. I guess it was a combination of the brightness and the flashing that made look away from the back of the bus. It made feel somewhat dizzy; it was the weirdest thing. But I still want them though.

There's an outer ring on the lever piece. Just stick a flathead in the little slots and that will release the clips. It's really hard to do this so it will take you quite a bit of time and effort. I think I almost snapped mine in half because I was so pissed off it wouldn't come off. I had it half way out and just pulled on it like crazy....it eventually came off in one piece

Well, my GS is an 05. Don't know how much younger a 2GS can get than that
