Unhappy VSC ABS VSC OFF = Codes C0200 & C1223

This is my new update on my previous post.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=238526

It's the most weirdest thing. The VSC ABS VSC OFF Light comes on then off then on for my driving. They would light together so finally took it to a shop and pulled these codes.

C0200 Right Front Wheel Sensor Fault
C1223 ABS System Fault

Did this ever happen before with anyone. The guy said that there was no voltage coming from the wheel sensor? Can I just fix one then it will fix the other? Any input? The car drives fine and no problem. When the light goes off for awhile when I'm driving I depress the VSC OFF and it works fine on the dash. Then soon after a 1-4 miles then it would go back on steady.

Turned the car on and off but still there. Can't believe this is happening, had the car for less than a year and so many lights going on. Hardly drive it (8k in one year) and never race or drive it hard at all.

Any help would be great!

Hey, this happened to me when I installed my TRD sway bars. I accidentally installed them upside down...yes I know . Anyways the bar hits the cable over bumps and such and eventually it cut the cable in half. I resoldered+sealed my cable back together and all is well now. Your other option if you don't know how to repair the cable is to buy a whole new ABS sensor which costs about $170-200 depending on where you get it.

I remember you removed your TRD bars and sold them not too long ago. Maybe your install guy screwed up when putting the stock bars back on? If the damage is due to the shop's error then you can probably get them to pay for it. If not then your options are to fix it or replace it.

FYI: If one of the sensors are not working, your ABS and Traction control will not be working until you get that sensor fixed.

Good luck!

I think that this is exactly what happened. There was something hitting earlier. Could please PLEASE take a picture of where it was hitting and where the cable is. When they (shop) installed the old strut bar it was hitting something then eventually stopped that's when the lights showed up.

Oh yeah, I'm guessing the front sway bars right?

Thanks Jeff!
