Default Lexus GS300

Hey, i am from Switzerland and drive Lexus GS300 from 1995 and an AW11 from 1987.

I did the Subwoofer surrounding in matching grey leather. I did new brakes an calipers and buyed me some 18inch BBS RG of a Soarer as Winter Wheels, because thats my Winter Car that i put in Storage over Summer.

I still want to get BC BR Coilovers or Airide.
The only problem is that Airride isnt really legal here.

i also got a Question:
Did somebody know if the middleconsole in woodgrain and the ashtrays are the same from LHD and RHD? Because from the Lexus Dealer the Items are something around 800 Bucks!

Thanks for all the DIY and other Stuff. I really love that Forum for all the help!
And i will upload new and better pics when something new and exciting happens.

Only difference in console and ashtray is they are reversed. So the lighter outlet is on the opposite side and the prnd2l deal is on the opposite side. As far as I know they will swap over if you're OK using the opposite type.

Good car choices. I have a 93 GS 300 with full Aristo swap, 93 sw20 turbo, 91 sw20 turbo, and 2 ra29 Celicas.

Nice cars, both of them. And yeah, it's hard not to love those 2's. I have the pretty much the same cars you have there. Welcome to the forums.

Default Small Update

So Guys after a long time with no news i am back again.

i started on reupholster my door cards and middle console and almost finished with one of four door cards. I only need to glue them together.

after the third try it gets a lot easier to glue an stich them together. i hope i can inspire somebody to do it because i only saw one upholstered interior of a 1stgen on the internet

I try to update more in the next couple months and try to get some cash together to finally put my bbs on the car. because at the moment they only collecting dust in my garage since one year.

Best Regards, Wim

P.S: I want to ask if somebody have some clear light covers for the door lights or where i can purchase them?
in switzerland we only have them in red and the usa gets them in clear or white. Thanks

1 almost finished and 3 door cards half there only need to glue it together.

i really hope that on the end of the month the car is back in one piece and ready to drive again.

for your information:
i only wanted to clean the car for the upcoming winter but now i find myself put the interior out and reupholster the doorcards and small pieces!

Did the fabric already come with the diamonds stitched in it or did you have to stitch them in yourself?

Yeah the fabric already came with that diamondstich texture.
it is really nice to work with it because you can stretch it and it doesnt get hole like when you sew it.

Wow, those are both beautiful cars. I still have my 1994 GS300, though I plan to sell it soon. My brother has a 1985 AW11.
