Default Apexi N1-X Evolution Extreme Muffler Axle Back ?

Hey everyone, does anyone of the forum have this axel back setup on their GSF with stock midpipe. If so, do you have any clips I could hear. Do you get any droning from this setup at highway cruising speeds with stock midpipe? Thanks in advance.

There should be a good amount on Youtube, definitely a lot of people with that setup out there.

Let us know if we can help you out.

I have this exact setup now and am very happy with it, but exhaust tone is admittedly very subjective. Personally, I was aiming for a tone that was a bit deeper and louder than stock, but not ear-shattering or wake the neighbors obnoxious. Yes, there is a bit of drone from about 1500-2000 RPM (which is unfortunately, where most of my driving occurs), but I actually got used to it.

Originally, I ordered an electronically controlled valve setup, but now I am really glad that fell through as I realize that it would've been way too loud for my taste. Also, I've heard some negative things about the reliability and overcomplication of a valved setup.

I'll try to record a clip for you when I get a chance.

That would be great. Everting I seems to find the person has a mid pipe with it. I think this is exactly what I’m looking for.
