infotainment issue
A few days ago the wife and i went out to get something to eat, a few minutes into the drive the infotainment went to a pink screen, lost all sound then a black and finally rebooted back to normal all while driving.
i was wondering if this has happened to anyone?
TIA

Yes, I had that when I disconnected the battery and reconnected it. I had the pink screen and unresponsive screen. It rebooted itself and all is normal. I've only had this happen to me once in my 3 years of ownership so it's nothing to worry about.
it was weird for sure but thanks for reassuring me it will be fine
This happens to me every once in a while (once a month). Software is buggy. It shouldn't affect your driving experience, though you will lose navigation and bluetooth music.
I'm sure they can fix it but is it worth it is a different question.

I had this happen to me when I first purchase this car used. It would happen every few days, enough for me to request the dealer replace the navigation/infotainment unit. They did specify there was a newer infotainment unit than the one I had (but they couldn't provide me any detailed information like what was the hardware revision number / software firmware version). All I know is that I no longer have a pink screen or a purple screen
