Accord V6 better and itch for something else?
I too want to get headers and a Tune, the exhaust just makes the car sound mean. its not the fastest but it can last probably as long if not longer than the accord without much trouble. Cant say that to other faster cars out there.
"At times I've also thought about trading it in for something more powerful, but the reliability , build quality and rarity of the car always has me changed my mine. It's just a fun car to drive and easy when you want it to be."

The GS F isn't the fastest, but car enthusiasts always give my GS F compliments when I'm out. Especially now with headers and exhaust, people are amazed by how the car sounds. I've even had non-car-enthusiaists roll down their windows at stop lights and ask me what's under the hood. People are surprised when they hear a Lexus has a V8.

When you hear Matt Farah says he wants one and Doug Demuro saying it's a great used buy, it's probably worth keeping for the long term.

Used to take GS-F to train station and take train into City for work. With COVID, didnt want to take GSF into the city due to crappy roads and a ridiculously tight and stacked parking garage, and dont see myself taking the train anytime soon, so bought a used 2017 Accord v6 Touring for commuting. You know what, as a daily driver I prefer the Accord (so smooth) so the GSF just sits most of the time. Thinking about unloading the GSF and maybe getting a 718 as a weekend toy. Help convince me otherwise!
My toy car was a convertible Ferrari 355 F1.

I am confused. Isn't the GSF a daily car? Sure gas is a killer, but the car is comfortable and super fun to drive.
I have a 17 R8 V10+, and even on the weekends I have a hard time choosing which one to drive.

My 2 cents: driving matters to me, and I dont just live during the weekends, so what I daily drive also matters to me. GSF makes a perfect daily, good balance of performance, reliability and comfort. Also COVID is not gonna last forever, and the used car market is not the best right now for sellers (weak demand, unemployment, and Hertz flooding the used car market)
I rented a 981 Cayman last month for a weekend on Turo and that experience taught me that I love practicality. When I think about sport cars now the only place I'd want to drive them is on the track. The best car to me is the one I can drive everyday!
So now I'm in the GS F forum looking to upgrade from my F Sport
Three years late to this post and comment, but this this this!

If I don't pull the trigger, my F Sport will get some suspension mods for the time being and I'll re-evaluate getting into an F sometime next year. Prices have crept up for sure.

Thank you! I actually just made a post in the prices paid thread about one that I looked at Saturday. It has 100K, two owner, but it was a very very clean car inside and out, it looked to be a highway driver. White on Stratus is the color combo I want as well. Gonna make a decision here in the next couple of days.

@greys0uled Did you pull the trigger on the F??
I remember seeing F's with about half the mileage for the same price as the one I was looking at 2-3 years ago. Seeing the price creep has been real. There are also just a lot of features missing from the GS F that I have tough time swallowing - no power trunk, no rear sunshade, no brake hold, no heated power steering. I also really want AWD.
And to top it off, current interest rates - gave my credit union a call last week and they said 5.5%! When I bought my 350 I got a 2.75%.
The F was just a very very tough sell for me.

Left a comment in the prices thread! I decided to pass.

GSF prices seem to just keep creeping, eventually, they will go down but the market for them seems to be pretty steady. Not worth it for 5.5% interest rates, however... if you want to be irresponsible then it's a great sell
