Credit Card Key
I'm planning on ordering the credit card key for my 2016 GSF
I'm guessing that the key blank has to be cut to the car
Do you need to have Lexus cut the key or can you goto a locksmith to have it done ?

Question
On the attached link to Lexus Parts Now
The part # is different for the credit card key
Which parts #s are the correct ones for a 2016 GS-F
Sorry for asking again but I want to be sure before I order

You don't need to have Lexus cut the key, but they do it pretty cheaply. I bought my metal key and credit card key from MyLParts.com (site sponsor) and they cut the key from the VIN. It worked perfectly for my IS F and my GS F.

Went to my Lexus dealer
He advised NO credit card keys in stock in the United States
Has to be ordered from Japan
Unknown on time frame for delivery
I gave in and just ordered both pieces
$261.00 before programming

Got my F credit card key
Just picked up my credit card key from the dealer! Its a little expensive after taxes and programming but worth it being able to fit in my wallet and one less bulky thing in my pocket.
Thank you to all for doing the research on the part numbers and confirming it works.

The part is on back order and comes straight from japan.
I thought it was in stock since on the dealer website it said it was available but it actually had to be special ordered.

It's water resistant too!
Reviving a necro thread for a quick update. I discovered my credit card key in my swim trunks after about an hour in the pool. Bummer. So I removed the battery and the metal key, let it dry out for about an hour, put the battery back in and voila, it still worked perfectly. This was great news to me as I had no desire to buy a new one just for being stupid.

Again, I am not claiming I may have done such a thing but figured I would tag onto your update.

Does anyone know where I can still purchase the credit card key?
I tried to place the order through LexusPartsNow and they cancelled the order:
https://www.lexuspartsnow.com/parts/...tra2=&filter=()
Local Lexus dealer quoted $500 for the key with programming.
