Question Orange Brake Calipers

I am thinking of changing the color of the ugly orange calipers on my GSF, as they dont compliment the white color. Thinking of either going with a Red or maybe Silver.

Does anyone know where I can get one of those Break Caliper covers from?

Not even sure if there is one for the GSF?

You really don't want to do that. Even if there were covers, they have many issues, the first is cooling. Painting is an option. Some folks powder coat. I have mine painted body color with a bit more metallic.

See this thread, mine is post #6.

Not sure how well that would work when I do this to brakes - note the original silver text is now gold:

Never heard of that method Don't really know anything about it. However, The Brembo decal probably will not stand up to road conditions. My decals are placed on the paint and then clear coated over.

I must have missed this:

If you were to track the car, I'd be concern about heat. You also live in Texas, so I'd say heat in addition to normal brake heat would be an issue with the vinyl wrap as well.

Unless you are comfortable with reapplying the vinyl every once in a while, then go for it.

Paint or powder coat is a legit option on the other hand.

Whats wrong with the orange? Personally, I think it looks great! But then again, aesthetics isn't really my thing anyways!
