If I'm driving in automatic mode, then decide to use the paddle shifters, how can I go back into automatic mode?

is it limited to moving the shifter left and back right?

 

If you utilize the paddle shifters while still in D, the transmission will automatically go back into Automatic mode after a few seconds of non aggressive driving. Or if you want it go into automatic right away, just flick it to manual then flick the lever to D

if you pull the shift lever to maunal mode, then obviously you have to put it back to D for it to go into automatic

 

Hold upshift for few seconds.

Or just upshift all the way to 8th gear, then it will automatically go back to D since its the same thing.
