Pulled my center console apart to take care of some rattles and decided to PPF the center trim and cup holder carbon fiber. In my opinion the PPF is much easier to keep clean and scratch free, especially on the gloss black areas in the high touch areas. I will probably do the window switches plastics as well next.
I used bulk PPF film that I had on hand but apparently Xpel makes a precut kit that covers all the interior bits. Bulk willl get you more coverage since you can wrap it around the edges but precut can be installed without disassembly. You could also take them apart and take them to a PPF installer and they should be able to wrap everything for you. PPF also hides scratches really well so my gloss black looks brand new again.
