Recommendations for Car Covers
Good evening,
I've got a 2016 Lexus GSF and I'm looking for a good outdoor car cover to keep it from getting really dusty and from the clear coat getting damaged. I live in the central valley of California, it gets 110+ degrees this time of year, and dust storms are also prevalent.
I'm not looking for something over the top, just something that will fit the vehicle, is easy to take on/off and is outdoor rated, not a delicate showroom cover. Price is a factor, but I'm willing to pay decent money for something that will last. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks!

Unfortunately any car cover is going to cause marring/spider webbing on the clearcoat since dust will get trapped between the paint and the cover and the wind will blow the cover around. Still better than sitting out in the sun all day though. Shade/garage if at all possible is the best.

I do plan on making sure the vehicle is washed when it does get covered to minimize that. I’m also sure getting a ceramic coating on the entire vehicle will help too. I have some paint chips and cracks to fix first that came with it unfortunately, which was upsetting considering I paid a lot of money for it to be L/Certified, but it is what it is.
for 110 degree valley heat and dust storms you want the covercraft weathershield hp or california car cover superweave because they are lightweight enough to not trap heat but the weave is tight enough to block that fine silt from getting to your paint both are silver or light gray to reflect the sun and prevent your clear coat from baking which is the best way to preserve your car's value in california so i bought it from there so if u want check it on this link
since it is single layer it is way easier to pull on and off daily than those heavy 5 layer covers and you can actually throw it in a home washer to get the dust out every few weeks just make sure the car is clean before you cover it so you don't ground in any sand
