2016 Lexus GS 350 Base Triple Beam Headlight
Hi,
I swapped out my single beam LED headlights on my 2016 Lexus GS 350 Base for the Triple Beam (GS F Headlights) i am having issues with my High Beams and also instead of the DRL's staying on alone the entire headlight is on even if i switch it to the off position, does anyone have any recommendations on how to get this fixed?

@escriche31 Nicely done. You may need a new ECU for the headlamps as the base ECU may not have the ability to properly "handle" the triple LEDs. Here's a few helpful threads:

Good luck and let us know what you had to do to get it all working!

Looks good. Why this isn't the standard equipment in the US, is stupid. At least it is much easier to get now, as opposed to special order back in 2016.

@JDR76 i'm assuming all the 19's they had were F-sports with triple beams?

Yes, they were all optioned the same. They had 4, and they were all GS350 AWD F Sports, with triple beams, HUD, ML, cold weather package, and the power trunk. The only variation was in color (one white, two smokey granite micas, and one atomic silver) and two had the illuminated door sills, and two did not.

It is a crazy thing that I don't understand, why they are so stingy in equipping the RWD models with the triple beams. It's my consolation for the extra AWD wheel gap.

for real, even custom order isn’t true custom order as in you can’t get all the features even though all the wiring is still gonna be put in...

To add: We're in the Bay Area. How often do you really need AWD? Definitely a padder tactic they are using, haha.

Hello
I purchased the headlights on eBay I paid about $2100 plus I purchased 2 led modules from the dealership which about $230 each, but there is a part that no one was able to give a part number that controls the headlights and I was unable to make function correctly (no high beams and the light would always stay if the engine was running) I since upgraded to an F-sport and have the headlight in a box if you like I can sell them to you. Also did you find anything that would make them work properly?
