A lot of people have been bugging me about the new steering wheel and shift **** so I just wanted to share the new look. I bought them from Josh@DCTMS who is a CL Vendor here on the forums. My experience with Josh was great, he was very helpful and thorough in his communication and was very blunt about my ideas which was great, I loved the honesty.
I was a bit hesitant at first and at one point even wanted to cancel the order but I'm glad I didn't. The wheel came out looking fabulous! The material and workmanship really shines and you can tell these guys are professionals. The wheel is carbon fiber on the top and bottom inserts. The leather grips are red, slightly roja'ish and I was concerned they wouldn't match my red crafted line interior but it's hard to tell the difference. I drove about 40 minutes with it today and absolutely love it, the flat bottom makes such a big difference when driving.
I also got the carbon fiber shift ****, it looks and feels great compared to my old leather punching bag shift ****. Both the steering wheel and shift **** feel great and I am going to be getting some more from Josh@DCTMS for my other cars. Hope you guys like it!
Oh and yes, you technically do not get to keep your heating function. I was still able to install the heating module that generates the heat but the copper heating wires that go around the wheel I did not install. I am working on figuring out what the best way to route the heating wires is and will post an update later. So when you press the heat button, the heat generates at the bottom but doesn't spread to the side grips. I will fix that soon!

That looks pretty awesome!! The wheel came with the F logo on the bottom already? Did you get the CF from them too?
Thanks man! Yes, the wheel came with the F logo on the bottom. I specifically requested that be included. Everything you see there minus the air bag is from them.
Is the leather on the new steering wheel heated like the original one?
I guess you completed the HUD install, does that mean Dynamic Cruise Control is next?
You should get the carbon fiber inserts for the airbag I see them on eBay for cheap, either Black or red:

No, the leather is not heated like the original but I am trying to come up with a creative way of installing the heating wires.
The heating conductors are under the leather grips, stuck on with removable glue. Looking like dirty diapers. LOL.
Here is a close-up of what those conductors look like. Straight up copper wires, nothing fancy.
The HUD I only did a part install, going to do the remaining piece some other time, ran out of space in my garage. Check the HUD Retrofit forum post for update.
And the CF insert, I'll have to check them up on eBay. Don't want to rice out either. Haha. :P

Yeah your right, the carbon fiber insert might be borderline rice : What about the Dynamic Cruise control, did you figure out all the wiring/harness situation? Do you have the parts for that yet?
Don't have all the parts but should have them pretty soon.

Yes, sir. Very simple to swap over controls. Just make sure to wait 6 minutes before disconnecting the negative battery on the terminal and wait another 90 seconds before disconnecting the air bag. It's like playing with Legos.
