I'm a new owner of a 14' Obsidian/Cabarnet F-Sport and the interior is practically flawless; except for the drive mode ****. There is quite a a bit of the silver paint scratched off from what looks like probably a ring or something. I think I found the part finally on mylparts
Combo Switch?
I was hoping it was just a cap of some sort that I can replace, any replaced one before or ideas on fixing it? Can get a pic if needed.

You can't buy just the cap, I ended up swapping mine out.
Just buy a used one in excellent condition on eBay:
This one is $60 with make offer button.

Here is an shift entire panel with model select; for $105:

Does the one from the IS and RC fit? I wonder if it will be any easier to find one from an IS, since there are more of those around. Plus, I thought the one my IS had was a lot nicer than the one in my GS. Not sure if they are the same size, though.

If you can find the right person to talk with at a Lexus dealership, I'm sure they have taken a vehicle in on trade that had the same problem. Lexus dealerships often use third-party detail specialists that perform dent removal, carpet cleaning or replacement, leather repair, painting and touch-ups, etc. They are bound to have run into the same problem you have. Maybe they can help with a tip or some some good advice...
