Default Avest Vertical Arrow Sequential Indicators

I saw these dynamic/progressive LED indicators while looking through a few JDM items. I know the new Audi's are using this and have seen a similar implementation on the Mustang's rear turn signal.

Anyone have these installed on their 4GS? Any thoughts, opinions or ease of install guidance appreciated...Seems like they don't "align" or have the same timing with the front/rear blinkers.

I don't think it'd be that hard, I replaced the puddle lights to LED, and the whole puddle light fixture was removable by just disconnecting the power cable. I didn't pay attention to the blinkers, but they might be the same as the puddle light. The hardest part would probably be removing the mirror.

If you did the puddle light mod, these are easy to replace. With the side mirror cover off this led light just slides right out.
You remove the side mirror, take out the screws, then just pull the body color back cover off instead of the black trim.

Personally this mod is not my cup of tea, especially what looks like a blue side marker when your not turning.

+1 on the blue side marker looking out of place. maybe if you can get it to match the color of the DRLs it’ll look better?

Thanks for the replies so far guys.

I've definitely done the puddle light mod so I imagine that if (and its a big IF) that its plug and play, it would be pretty easy. Some online research shows that you can indicate which "constant" or "daytime running" light color you want when purchasing...so its up to you if you want to order with a white LED or blue LED when the hazards/turn signals are off:

So, did anyone actually install these? Looks like it's not plug and play like most people are saying since there are two buttons that need to be installed in the dash. There is a red one and black one. The red one looks to controller whether the arrows do the sequential mode or normal mode. The black button turns on/off the side mirror DRL. See video below. Honestly, can't justify spending close to $300 for LED lights.
