Default Fare well to 2014 GS350 Luxury and Hello to 2017 GS350 Luxury

I finally got time to post my new ride, I picked it up last Friday! I was going to order a 2018 GS350 Luxury with triple Beam LED and HUD; however, Lexus doesn't offer Luxury package for 2018 anymore, and by the time, it was too late to custom build a 2017 Luxury with features I want. I only can pick whatever Lexus is sending to the dealerships. The first thing I did was replaced with 4 Michelin tires instead of Bridgestone tires.

Was that really much of an upgrade?

I actually like the Black/flaxen with white combo better. Other than the facelift with the front end, not much different imo.

Maybe he leases and just wanted another one since he likes the GS. I think it's a good looking car with the extra features the F-Sport doesn't have. Kind of makes me wonder if Lexus is going to drop the GS line since they don't offer the luxury package anymore. I don't think anyone really knows with all the rumors around. Stopped by the dealer in Chicago on friday and talked to the salesman that sold me my 14 RX and he mentioned that Lexus corporate is not saying anything to their dealers about the future of the GS. The nice thing about the GS is you just don't see them everyday like the RX.
I'm getting impatient waiting till next year to purchase a new F-Sport with features I really want. I was going to wait till late fall of 2018 and try and find one but I might just order one instead before the order cut off date.

No more Luxury? Seems odd. Congrats on the new car!

Congrats!! Love the color combo on both cars.

Did you get the front end wrapped in the film protection? I didn't but wish I did because road rash on the front is worse than I though it would be on a white car. Now I figure I will have to get the whole car painted in another year and then get the front end wrapped.

Sweet ride! I love that color interior and the facelift is nice to have if the 2018 is indeed the last model year for the GS.

Just out of interest, is the new 2017 suspension any softer than the 2014?
Are the springs more softer and more compliant, or exactly the same?
Are the new shock absorbers floatier, or the same?

Did the dealer change the tires for you at no charge? I tried to do the same when I purchased my '16 but they would only do it if they had another GS like mine with Michelin's. Unfortunately they did not. They did give me an extra $800 credit so I could purchase them myself but I decided to just keep the Brigestones until they wore out

BTW, Nice car!

You must live in Allen near Stacy Road & North Watters Road - according to the street signs and the map on your NAV screen as shown in the pictures (Images #1, #2 & #8 respectively) you posted.

Hmmm looking at the pics they look practically similar cars, like the interior color on the 17. Good luck.

The main feature I like about 2017 GS is Lexus Safety System Plus.
Other updates like GPS linked Clock, Brake Hold, A/C temperature display is like 2013 and newer LS models, newer generation NAV which is found on 2014 and newer IS.
