Default Nervous about going to the dealer for warranty work

I have 2 issues with my car right now that I need to get fixed, but I'm kinda weird about going the dealer. I feel like it present these issues they will probably not do anything about it. For whatever reason I have anxiety of going there, I guess some of it stems from all the horror stories I have read.

Issue 1: When driving at any speed from 20mph to 75 mph or more I get this kinda vibration from the front. I just put on new tires and had them balanced so I'm sure the tires are not the issue now.

Issue 2: The button for the driver heated seat is kinda stiff/ sticky. When I push it sometimes it kinda comes up like you pushed your fist into a pillow. Similarly the Map button near the joy stick is also stiff and makes a clicking sound when you press it.

Do you think these are issues they might cover?

Are you the original owner or did you buy the car used?

Besides unbalanced wheels, vibration could also be due to bent rims. Not covered under warranty.

Sticky buttons could be due to spilling some liquids and not properly cleaning it. Not covered under warranty.

^ Agree with this completely.

I would also not be nervous about visiting your local lexus dealer. It not like its Hyundai or Kia or somewhere that is taught to treat their customers like dirt (I'm lookin' at you Cadillac). You should get luxury treatment out of most of the lexus dealers

Where did you have the new tires put on?
Id go back to where you had them installed and make sure they road force the tires.

I bought it used. It's a 2013 and the warranty is running out I think. I tired calling the Lexus dealer near me to find out if it's even still under warranty and they said to just to come in. The GS has a 4 year 50k mile warranty. I don't know when the car was originally bought and they don't seem to give up this info.

It was done by a mobile service. The vibration was there before and after the new tires. I should have switched them around.

You can check the history/timeline and whether your car is still under warranty by entering your VIN into your account on the http://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/ website.

Like I said, I don't think your problems are warranty related, so the dealer may charge you a diagnosis fee if outside warranty.
