hey everyone fellow 4GS owner here. Currently own a 2016 GS-F .....not an F-Sport . Lol anyway looking to purchase a 2017 FSport for my father. Already scheduled an appointment with my sales guy but wanted to know what people are paying right now and if there’s leeway on the 17s. I figured since its the end of the model year i can swing a good deal on one. 17 F-Sport AWD with all the bells and whistles. Matador Red Mica with flaxen interior. Here’s the kicker.. I want the ML and Triple Beam headlights. I have a feeling the only way to get that would be a special order which means paying full MSRP which is a no no especially after the great deal I got on my GSF.

looking forward to your advice and thoughts, hopefully i can swing it for the old guy hes been good to me. Looking forward to giving back to him.

Very limited in that color. cars.com comes up with only 20 nationwide and only 3 of them are AWD. MRM with black interior

Triple beams are rare.

If you are looking for a used one Nissan north has 2017 liquid platinum F sport AWD with triple beams and rioja red interior. Fully loaded, but no ML
only 4k miles on it

Unfortunately, you will not be able to special order for 2017 since Lexus are shipping 2018 to U.S at this moment. That's why I had to comprise for a Luxury pkg without triple beam LED, and HUD.

There are only 27 2017 GS350 F-Sport AWD with triple beam LED and Mark Levinson left in the country. None of them are Matador Red nor Flaxen.
Here are the only available exterior color Ultra White, Smokey Granite Mica, Atomic Silver, Black, Caviar, and Ultra Sonic Blue (with black or red interior)

If you have to have Flaxen interior, then you will need to give up triple beam LED, and only available exterior color are Atomic Silver, Caviar, and Ultra Sonic Blue. I have even searched for a non F-Sport, but nothing met your requirement.

I'll recommend you to get a 2018 since Lexus has reduced MSRP $2,750 for F-Sport which means you are getting a 2018 with triple beam LED and Mark Levinson for free and save $210 in your pocket compare to 2017! If you order a 2018 right now, you may be able to get it for December to Remember deal!

Since Lexus reduced the MSRP for F-Sport, there is no significant price difference in terms of OTD price. Let's say hypothetically dealership takes total $8K off for 2017, and takes $3K off for 2018. If you add $2750 to $3000 which is $5750 off compare to 2017 $8000 off. For only $2250 difference, I definitely will go with 1 model year newer!

Now you just need to find out what's the most important in terms of discount or color combination with the options your father wants. By the way, 2018 now come with 10-year free subscription for Lexus Safety Connect... I personally think it's a great feature for your father, right?

Thank You both for your great advice. CMT20 you're right and good point.. did not realize the 18's come cheaper and i was reading most 18 fsports now come standard with the Mark Levinson. So only to get the pesky triple beam headlights!!
