Default Sport Mode....

Works great! We went to the mountains in NC last weekend and drove the Blue Ridge Parkway. I usually prefer to take the Miata but it was hot and raining. Normally I would use Sport Mode and the paddle shifters but this time I let the auto trans do it's thing. I was very impressed at how it kept the revs up and shifted at just the right times. It's only the GS200t but keeping the revs up kept me in the power and the big girl handled great even with the wet roads. Now the girlfriend on the other hand wasn't too happy with my speeds.

I think it works pretty well too, the paddles are pretty responsive. If you want even more responsiveness add a apexi accel!

I love how Sport mode downshifts. If you brake aggressively, it downshifts sooner to give you engine braking.

I use the sport+ mode more because of the tighter steering response. Dig the sound revving up hills.

Its probably all in my head but since I replaced my battery and had a TSB addressed (http://www.revbase.com/BBBMotor/TSb/...dPdf?id=192696) the car feels more peppy and lively in sport mode

Also, after driving an 2017 RX loaner for a day and throwing that into Sport mode, I can really appreciate the driving experience of the GS...I like how the GS transmission holds the gear a little longer in case you need to suddenly accelerate. My old GS430 didn't feel as strong if you punched it and then suddenly punched it again after letting off the throttle.

It is good to have things in your head that make you feel happy even though they might not be true in the real world because the happiness is real.
