Changing the exhaust volume?
I just had a JoeZ catback installed over the weekend on a 2016 GS350 F Sport. The notes sound good, the cold start is amazing, but damn if it doesn't get way too loud at low speeds. I could be driving uphill at 65 and from the driver's seat it sounds like I should be going twice that, or it sounds like my car is on the struggle bus.
I'm pretty ignorant to exhaust stuff but is there a way to tone down the volume or make the sound more proportional to the speed/ RPM?

I've been hearing more and more about the Joe Z catback being TOO loud for everyday driving purposes. Is it overbearing that you can't drown it out with music? I've been tempted to purchase it for a long time, but am reconsidering due to how loud the drone is.

I've had the JoeZ catback for a little over 4 years now and I still love it. It does have drone at cruising speeds though. Long highway drives do get annoying if the audio volume isn't up past 30, but every time I mash the gas from a stop I forget about the drone. It sounds so good revving!
You'd be hard-pressed finding a catback exhaust that doesn't drone. I've heard swapping out the axleback to the stock ones while keeping the JoeZ midpipe give a nice tone so I may play around and try that out since I still have the stock exhaust.

Dudes once you hit near 1000 miles it tones down big time . still noticing low amount of drone even after 5k miles but still better than stock....

Will be reinstalling some factory parts this weekend and turning this into an axle back kit. Most likely selling the JoeZ midpipes on here very soon. lysis250 if you're really interesting in buying the JoeZ midpipe, shoot me a PM.

This is why I will probably go with a meisterschaft GTC if I get a exhaust, it lets me close the valves if I want it more quiet. I can't stand drone. I had a M3 with a dinan exhaust that sounded like a animal when you got on it, but I had to put some resonators because it had so much drone when I was just driving normal.
