2013 Gs350 AWD door lock actuators
Folks, I have about 55k miles and had three of the door lock actuators fail---under warranty---and now the 4th one went. Has anyone else experienced this type of failure rate?

all 4 replaced before 54k, mentioned they were playing up when I made the booking for a service, when I took it in they had pre ordered the parts in and fitted them under warrantly - must be a known issue!

Faulty door lock actuators have been a issue with Lexus cars and the GS for over 2 decades and now 3 generations yet they still have not bothered to design a door lock actuator that will actually last and have the nerve to charge over $500 a pop to fix them every time they fail.

With this in mind, I've set the default behavior for my 2013 awd to only unluck the driver door on handle grabs and exits.
Since it's just me most of the time, why have all four locks fire every entry/exit?
In my 2001 GS430, I only had the driver actuator fail, and naturally, it's because it's the one that fired the most.

2013 GS 350 Actuator problem
Yes. I have 80k on my GS 350 and I replaced the drivers side actuator at 60k. Now, I’m having issues with the same actuator and may have to replace it again. $600 Xs 2. If they do not acknowledge the problem, I may trade this car and move Lexus. Nagging issues with the three I’ve owned. No point in being a loyal customer.

2013 50k miles and my drivers door went a couple of weeks ago. I noticed I stopped getting the "beep" and "light flash" on lock and unlock about a week ago. I'm also 1 month out of my CPO warranty.
I'm currently debating a DIY to replace the actuator.

2013 GS 350 Door Actuator Failures
Folks: I feel your pain: I have 48K miles on my 2013 GS 350 and I have experienced the following door actuator failures:
Feb 2015: Left Rear Door
August 2015: Right Rear Door
January 2016: Left Front Door
April 2017: Right Front Door
September 2017: Left Rear Door (2nd time)
October 2017: Left Front Door (2nd time)
April 2019: Right Rear Door (2nd time)
Unbelievable. I don't know if it is due to faulty wiring or a bad actuator design, but it needs to be addressed by Lexus. They keep just replacing the actuators, but there is obviously more to the story than that. If it is electrical causing the issue, then they need to address the root cause rather than just charging us for replacement actuators over and over again.

Lexus repaired mine under good will.
I took it in for the 50k mile service (crazy, $250 for basically an oil change). I was 2 months outside warranty. My service advisor had it fixed under customer good will. He said it helped that I brought the car there for regular services.
Now I’m irritated I didn’t push to have the sunroof rattle fixed. Another known issue with the GS350.
