Looking to get back into a Lexus
So I'm negotiating a price on a ultra white GS 350 F Sport package which MSRP's at $60,030 and the dealer is willing to discount it to $54,000. Just wondering if this is a good deal? I'm going to be trading in a 2012 Audi A6 and they're giving me KBB trade in value which is $20,300. Any incentives on this car other than the 2.9% financing?
Thanks in advance!

What year are you looking at? The value looks like it drops in a 2014-2015 a lot, so maybe wait it out a year although it will depend on how the value on the audi holds.

25-30% off on a 2106 at least
15-20% off a 2017 minimum
the GS is not selling as hot compared to 3 years ago. Also the market is flooded with lease returns. As a result, 3 year old GS are worth less than 40-45% their original msrp

I was looking into possibly trading in/selling my 2014 GS350, which I financed for a bit less than $600/mo for 60 months in 11/2016 (0.9% interest on L/Certified, $0 at signing) for a 2017 GS350 AWD Base ($55k) or 2017 GS350 AWD F-Sport ($60k) to reduce monthly payments. "Best" deal my dealership offered was $5500 total off MSRP including $2k lease cash. Turned out to be around $729/mo for the base, $754/mo for the F-Sport. That's pretty close in pricing to a similarly priced redesigned 2017 5 series... Didn't even bother negotiating since it is nowhere in the ballpark of even being close to my finance deal. The GS is definitely not leasing well and there are few incentives available.

GS sales were down 54% for the month of March compared to last year.
March cash incentive of $2000 really did not help its sales.
I personally would wait for their july sales to come up to see if any better incentives are offered.

Agreed. The GS loses its value heavily in the first few years. If you want the redesign, the best bet is the find a CPO '16 model. I'm sure not much has changed between 2016 and 2017 that is significant. I've seen some CPO 4GSs for under 30K already.

Thanks for all the responses!! This is on a 2017 car. The most I'm able to get off is 10% off. That sucks.

For now, keep trying and get the dealers to compete against each other. If you have a written offer, use that to see what another dealer will give you.

I know it's a long ways away, but December is when you'll usually get the best deals. Especially on a clearanced 2017 as 2018s are rolling in.
