Took off my hyper shift pearl I had on the grill trim a fiew weeks ago. Wanted to wrap it so tried it in a brushed black while it was on the car and failed. I messed up a cut and it didn’t come out right. Decided I would dip it again, I really love nardo grey and managed to find a pearl that was close. I decided to remove it from the bumper so I don’t have to mask the whole car. Got it sprayed nd decided to do the entire grill. Came out good and smooth. It was my first time removing the bumper and it was kinda a pain but wasn’t too bad. Adds some contrast to my car since everything else is carbon fiber/black.

Installed H&R Spacers 15mm front and 20mm rear.
I just wanted to see what more flush looked like ahead of lowering...because it's so easy.

Used H&R DRM spacers, found on eBay, ~$150 for each set.
The 20mm came locally; the 15mm came from Deutschland.
DRM spacers have their own studs, easy bolt-on, but are harder to find, more info here)
15mm 3065602
20mm 4065600

Here is the car album, top pictures are with spacers.

Easy install, Luxury wheels have plenty of clearance for the protrusion of factory studs.
The 20mm spacer nuts were needed a 19mm socket, but the 15mm nuts needed a 17mm socket.

The 15mm get the fronts a little more flush than the rears, would say 25mm in the rear would be a perfect match. (25mm spacers are H&R part 5065601.)
Overall, the stance is prettier, especially from behind, looks like a bolder car, more like BMWs and Audis stock.

I will post some pictures later.

Have any pics? I have 20mm in the rear, but want to add some to my front, are you on stock 18s or 19s?

I like it. Also the blacked out foglight bezels works really well and blends in with the black paint along with the grill. Nice touch with the emblem too.

Dropped on Tanabe springs and installed Joe z catback.

The drop is absolutely perfect and the exhaust is menacing.

Installed the Alpine mono amp and AudioControl DM-810 DSP to provide some boost and control to the Alpine sub. Makes the ML system sound 10x better.

Finally decided to tackle the middle trim, I had wrapped over the cup holder and the seat climate controls but it didn't look right since I had wrapped it in place. And the trim around the shift was not wrapped since it was too hard to get to. I took everything out from the center trim, and it wasn't as bad as I thought. I could remove it and reinstall in probably 5 minutes now, if anyone has questions about this I can help out. I originally purchased 3m brushed black to do my grill, however I was trying to do it on the car and I ended up cutting in the wrong spots and messed up the piece. Since I had leftover vinyl I attemped to wrap this trim and it turned out great! I'm so impressed with how this vinyl looks in person and how it is to work with. I've worked with some cheap horrible vinyl in the past and this didn't take me long. These pieces look like they are metal in person, here are the pics of it taken apart and reinstalled.

I had found these pictures in another thread which really helped.

For the leather trim pieces on the side you can pull it toward you and up, don't remove them yet. That gives you access to the plate around the radio, you can pull that forward from the bottom and it should come off pretty easy. The start button will be attached to it, so just unplug that. After that you can remove the side trim pieces. For the climate controls there will be 4 screws 2 on each side, you will need to use a short philips bit to remove them, something like a small rachet wrench with philips head. Then you lift that pieces thru the hole and disconnect the connector on the back. Next you will need to separate the boot from the shifter and then unscrew the shift ****. For the shifter assembly there are 2 screws on the left which I removed. Then you can pull up towards the back of the shifter assembly and pop the whole thing out. After its pulled up disconnect all of the connectors. I then removed about 6 screws on the back. For removing everything you just have to sit there for a second and see how its connected and how to take it apart. Its a little hard to explain. The shifter portion should pop out easily. Also remove the mouse **** in a early step. For the section with the mouse, there will be a clip at the very button that you will need to pry a bit with a flathead. Be very careful, there are a number of clips that will be visible, just try to see what you need to remove. It will eventually pop out.

For the cupholder there is a curved plastic piece which you can take off. Once that is off on the back of the top of the cupholder trim there are 4 clips you can pry and the whole top trim of the cupholder will come off so you can wrap it and tuck it underneath for when you reassemble. Hope that makes sense or helps.
