2015 F-Sport with Mark Levinson - Disable Audio Lowering on Incoming Messages
Hi everyone,
I currently have the volume on incoming messages and emails to OFF, message pop ups and notifications off on my 2015 F-Sport with ML. I have been using Pandora (through Enform) quite a bit recently and whenever I get an email or text message, the music volume goes down for about a second. This is the same case when I'm playing any audio through Bluetooth connection from my phone as such as playing YouTube videos or streaming MP3s to my car stereo.
I (like man of you) get way too much junk mail and marketing emails and the music volume lowering each time an email comes in is really annoying. I know that if I put my phone on silent, the audio volume doesn't go down.
Is there any way to disable the audio volume going down without putting my phone on silent?
Thanks.

by chance are you using an iPhone? if you are, it's a phone issue not the car.. only way to correct it is to either have no sound on the email or put the phone on silent.

guessing it is the same for them as well.
happens in all my cars and even with my Bluetooth and wired headsets, it's a phone thing.. annoys the hell out of me. I just took sounds off my emails just have them set to vibrate. . it is the only way around it that I have found. and frankly I could care less about the emails alerting me, I will check them when I check them.
Texts I leave enabled. but have the text through the car disabled as I will no use my phone for texting while driving, and seldom answer it for calls either.. IMO there is nothing so important that it cannot wait until I am parked.
