Looks great OJTXGS! How is the difference in terms of everyday use/performance from your previous halogen fogs?

I thought this was a great upgrade when I did mine.

Thanks,

The matching colors make all the difference, looks SO much better than stock. Another Lexus miss...

Great move! I did the same but I painted the top and front of the bulb sleeve to reduce the glare

Looks great (wish you could have gotten a shot with just one side done to compare).

Did you just swap out the bulbs for LED ones? What color / temperature did you get to match the headlights? One of my bulbs burned out so I'm looking to go LED. Where did you purchase them?

I did swap for LED. Lumen LED bulbs at 6500k. I purchased them from CardID online. It was an easy upgrade, in the manual it shows you how to replace the bulbs.

I just swapped a set of the XenonDepot h11 LED bulbs tonight and the front end look is way better. I chose the 5k and it matches well with everything. I also like the fact that they are 30w because I dont want to melt the wiring using higher wattage eventhough the stock fog bulb is a 55w h11, same as say a camry low beam bulb.

Do the XenonDepot H11 LED bulbs cast a wider spread of light compared to the OE fog bulbs?

I think it is similar TBH, it makes sense as the light is sitting fairly recessed in the housing and the housing is what basically projects the light. I intentially went with a low power unit because I have had wires melt before using other bulbs (though they were 55w Hella amber h11s in my past gs300)
I also would think these would run longer without burning out etc

This is such a good idea. I can't even tell when my fog lights are on, they make no difference at all

Update.......I have noticed the lights look very bright when you look at them, but when driving, the lights barely are noticeable. The only light I notice is there is a subtle brightness to the surrounding areas (off to the sides and higher) away from the area that the headlights illuminate. Honestly, the OEM fogs may have been similar in the amount of usable light they threw. Maybe the fog lights are more decorative than functional.

I'm old school, I still have HID's. They are bright and illuminate the road well.
