if this is not enabled, then yes they will charge you but I believe it will only allow it to go down by holding unlock.

That is correct, unless you've got a solid (and profitable) relationship with your service advisor, then he might throw it in for free with another service. OR you can get a Carista or Techstream or similar to program it yourself OR if it's your first service (5K) that programming is included.

Google "lexus gs 350 personalized settings" and you'll find a checklist, here's the 2018 checklist: https://www.lexus.com/documents/broc...T_DA_FINAL.pdf

For one, I would like the key fob control AUTO window down / up / moonroof open / close feature with a touch on the remote.
Would be much more useful in the summer heat!
I do not have a local lexus, so i had oil changed at toyota instead and they activated the window remote for free.

I thought they did away with the need to pedal dance in 06?

I've only had the car about a week and hadn't driven at night until this past Monday.

I discovered that it's got LED strip lighting on the upper door panels behind the seam between the leather and upper black plastic. It's also got illuminated front and rear floors.

And a light in the console storage and there's a light in the rear-view mirror shining downward, though it's very dim and not particularly useful except maybe in perfect darkness.

Just discovered that the pause button mutes the audio when it's unable to pause eg aux input

Full throttle mode is basically a small tactile detent in our gas pedal. To access it you would need to step on the gas pedal all the way to the floor. And right when you think it has reached its full travel you have to apply more pressure and go past that detent and voila! Full throttle mode baby!

I haven't really been able to figure out which models have the kickdown switch/detent. Maybe the RWD models?

I thought all models had it but on 2nd thought, I think I remember it was only the 8AT models. Our 2015 & 2018 both have the 8AT and have the kickdown switch.

I don't think I've floored mine yet. I'll try it out when a cop comes after me for having no front plate.
