The covers are held on with Permatex RTV red. I know! But it works. The covers have not moved and this is how the guys on the TL form are installing them. You can still remove the calipers with the covers on.

The paint went on really well and the brush included in the kit is of good quality.

One more shot of the cover before paint. I got the ideal to do this from the TL form.

Normally not a fan of caliper covers but this doesn't look bad. Good job.

I agree, great job!

If possible, please post a clear pic, did you cover the screw holes?

Thanks guys. Pictures are a thousand words so I'll desripe what I did in the pics. The front side of the caliper is covered in RTV. The inside of the covers have RTV applied as well. I squeezed the tabs on the side and the one on the top to fit just right on the calipers. Press and let it sit over night. The holes in the covers are not filled.

Here's a shot of the covers on an Acura RDX. Just google "acura tl rdx caliper cover" to find more photos to help you get a better ideal of this mod.

Thanks, you can check out some of the color choices in one of the pics above and on the G2 site. Yellow is a color that would POP on your car!

i know I am very late on this one, sorry!! However, I was wondering when you painted those covers, did you sand down the painted surface or did you just apply g2 paint directly?

For the fronts I would use perforated metal strips. Search for the Japanese guy on YouTube he'll how it's done.

For the rears I might use RVT.

Btw, the LARGE size is better for the fronts.
