changing tire size...Please help
I currently have 235/40/19 front and 265/35/19 rear...........I'd like to go to 235/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear. The over diameter is even closer than oem. With the new set up the tires are almost an inch shorter so the sidewall is shorter, giving it a lower profile look compared to the oem tires. The speedometer will be off by approx. 2 mph. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF IT WILL CAUSE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE ABS, ABS SPEED SENSORS OR ANYTHING ELSE BY GOING TO A DIFFERENT TIRE SIZE??

I went from 235/40R19 to 245/40R19 on my GS f-sport awd without any issues. As long as you stay within 3% of the original tire diameter you are fine. I would NOT recommend going thinner tires as you proposed as it negates the benefits of having enough rubber underneath the rim to protect from the roads here in Michigan. I live in Bloomfield Hills and Birmingham Mi and the roads are terrible but my slightly thicker tires are perfect and yet the forged 19 inch rims I have look great in the slightly wider rubber. If I went thinner, I would of bent one of the rims easily. I have had thinner tires and would not go for that anymore. Just my 2 cents.
