That wasn't covered by warranty?

I also have a hairline crack in my f-sport spoiler. I'm going to bring this up to my dealer in a few days as a warranty issue. Not having a power trunk and combination of vibration from city driving probably did contribute to it.

WOW, that is exactly what mine started off as. Maybe I should bring this up again with my dealer because its pretty ridiculous. The crack is basically right under the screw.

What do you guys think about installing say the CARID spoiler without the drilling and bolts, using only double sided tape?

I like the look of it, and would be tempted to get it, but drilling into the bumper is pretty "final" for me...

Exactly what you said, right under the screw. I shot off an email to the service advisor yesterday and waiting for them to respond. If I don't like what I hear, the next step is corporate.

I got mine for 180 off ebay, comes with a installation kit and everything. If its a replica i really don't care. Looks identical to the original one

Infamous3,
That does look nice. Your advantage is that you went with the carbon approach on white. You did not have to worry about matching paint. That is just one of my concerns. My other concern, as SW13GS has mentioned, is the drilling. Tape I could do. Drilling just scares me a little. And I haven't even mentioned the issues some of you are reporting with cracking spoilers. You have no recourse if you don't buy from the dealer if it ends up cracked, etc. Obviously it happens.

Hi bro, $180 is really cheap! I got mine close to SGD$900 sipped from Japan! Moreover the spoiler came unfinished, I need to finish it with clearcoat locally.... Replica or not it look really good too!

Yeah i know its a excellent deal. I saw this spoiler on ebay a while ago and it was like 600 or something, theres a lot of sellers selling it too. I guess they realized nobody is paying 600 or whatever and they just gradually kept lowering the price.

Really glad i got it. Idk why people on here are so afraid to buy things from ebay. If fitment is wrong or anything is wrong with it you get your money back, they always take the buyers side
