Traffic linked with Satellite Radio.
can we still get traffic without satellite? i don't satellite radio but definitely use the traffic.
also, if i recall correctly, satellite radio trial is 3 months but traffic/weather is for 1 year?

I believe you are correct - The traffic/weather trial is a year.
Also, I think it is a separate subscription from the XM radio subscription, BUT I do not know if XM requires you to have at least the base radio subscription in order to have the traffic and weather service.

really a shame, so when i use navi if i don't have traffic, it won't show the ETA?

oh all my lexus (before and after xm subscription) there is always an indicator saying how long before arrival. but all of them on previous generation of nav. so i hope they didn't omit it in the latest gen

XM Traffic is a joke, at least in the Phila/NJ area. I95 in PA is covered, but 295 in Jersey is pretty much ignored. Listening to radio traffic on "the 2s" is far more complete and up to date. Maybe there are parts of the country where they have good data, but not in my area - a real shame - I will NOT be paying after the year is over.
