Default Parking assist--leave it on or off?

I am wondering if it is okay to keep the intuitive parking assist on all of the time rather than turning it on just when parking/pulling out?

Is there any downside to having it on all the time while driving?

You might regret it because you forgot to turn it on just that one time while parking....just leave it on.

This is my third car with park assist, the only time I dare to consider turning it off is when I go into New York City and travel in traffic with pedestrians continually walk in front of my car. Otherwise leave it on, there is no harm.

Yes, you have beepintoleritis, I'd see an autotoligist immediately.

Mine is always on, but I turn it off momentarily when I'm in a drive-thru.

I have the same problem in NYC when most of the people cut in front of my car.
