i got mine 3 years ago for much cheaper. i didnt buy it from viper directly but i got the 5902 for around 3-400 and plus labor came out to like 600 the most. i might not have the phone feature because i dont want to pay the 100 a year. but it is a great feature.

80 feet in open range can be brought down to 30 feet in a normal environment, such as a parking lot.

-40C=-40F for some reason. BTW can you easy switch Lexus display from km to ml and temperatures from C to F? I have visitors from Europe and they always struggle to learn new units, worst things that for Europe driving 100km/h isn't fast but when they start driving 100mph, they get ticketed.

Installed PT398-00120 today.

While not the easiest install, it was a lot easier than the LuxLink Remote Start I installed in my 2GS.

If you have TechStream already, it's pretty straightforward.

I wanted to bump this thread to talk about an OEM alternative. I found this remote start system for sale by Amazon and Walmart for ~$150 https://shop.mypushcart.com/plug-n-p...5-lexus-gs350/

It looks like it installs like the OEM system, uses your original keys, and functions just like OEM.

Has anyone tried this or have any insights?

I though this was standard; my 2015 GSFS does this, but the range is wack; I might need a new remote battery im guessing. Does this work without the remote start except very close?

P.S. I think remote start is standard on US models but you have to have a Enform subscription to get it to work.

Nope you don't have to pay for the subscription. You just wont be able to use the app anymore but the keyfob will still work.

My 13 came with it although the range sucks... it barely ever works unless I’m super close to the car. Going to ask the service advisor at Lexus when I go in for an oil change next week! Would be nice if I could get the remote app but that became standard on the 16+ I believe so

This is actually not the case. After your subscription expires, your keyfob remote start will stop working within about two weeks.

The Lexus Enform Remote app became standard on model year 2015.
