Has anybody installed a Fitcamx dashcam on their GS? looks like a great idea and simple install, just cant seem to find an actual GS install
although I don’t have this brand I have hardwired a dash cam 1000% do it. It is so annoying I couldn’t find any vids either I bought a custom wiring kit I can find the link for you it was around 30 bucks I think. Also what helps is looking up hardwiring a radar, essentially the same thing to the dash cam.
Does this have GPS built in? I almost bought it but cancelled the order cause of quality doubts and my Thinkware cam still refuses to die after almost 9 years.
one thing about these is.. no screen to confirm recording is being done.. what if it craps out on you? Plus wouldn't that housing make it more susceptible to heat damage?

You confirm on the app. My blackvue doesn't have a screen and doesn't need it, has lights to indicate recording. Also my blackvue with metal case gets super hot in the summer, but still keeps working. Even the factory lka camera, rain sensors ect get very hot, but they are designed for that.
They also have one that should work with the pre refresh gs, it's the same one for the RX, model A. It's interesting they sell so called used ones for $68 on amazon. If it works that's a great deal for an integrated dash cam.
