And in regards to the original post, I mostly agree that the infotainment is a non-factor. I have everything set up how I want it and it is very rare that I touch the mouse. However, I got a new ES as a loaner last time I was at the dealer, and boy did that CarPlay look nice. Google maps in satellite mode in particular was awesome to have on the screen. It’s not gonna make me trade my car in or anything, but it would be really nice to have.

I don't know about 2016 cause that has the 3G issue. Just try with the app and see.

I was just in my Friends 2015 F Sport. He has a updated screen and it is nice. I would guess it works on the 2015 so I would think it can be updated on the 2016 also?

Now a days on the 4th Gen forum all it takes is one who has not even tried, to think and say it don't work", then nobody tries and most who also didn't try will say "it won't work".

That's why I just said I saw a updated 15 screen and I think it will work. If it's the update you were talking about, I see why you said what you said about it. I was nice, and different. I really liked it.
