Default weather strip removal and replacement

has anyone replaced this weather strip on the rear windows? took off plastidip on chrome and ate up the rear rubber thinking it was plastidip.. i found the part number but no installation information. thanks or any help

You have to remove the door panel and remove that rear quarter glass. That rubber is attached to the glass frame.

do you have to remove the rivets holding in the chrome trim?

No the chrome trim is separate. When you remove the glass there is a plastic trim on it that the rubber part is attached too.
