Emblem knocked loose

So, the other day, I woke up to my 2014 GS350 with no emblem in the front grill. I thought someone had stolen it, but it was on the ground right in front of my car. Some POS must have backed into my car and hit it causing the emblem to fall out. I took it to my mechanic as I thought the whole grill needed to be replaced, but he popped the emblem back in and it appeared to be fixed. I drove to work and back and everything seemed fine. But upon further inspection, the two tabs at the top of the emblem are broken while the tab at the bottom is still good. If you press it, the emblem is kind of floppy at the top and I’m concerned it’ll fall off somewhere while I’m driving. Aside from the broken emblem tabs, there doesn’t appear to be any damage to my car. My question is can I use an epoxy adhesive to secure my emblem in place? Would that be secure? Or do I need to replace the whole grill section? Or could I just replace the emblem? Also, is the emblem for the GS350 the same as the one for some IS and RX models? I believe 165 mm wide. If so, I may replace it with a black pearl emblem. Thanks for any suggestions.

Looking at the center portion below your emblem cut-out, it does look like your grille was "mashed-in" as you can see the tabs on the bumper that align with the grille itself. Not sure if that bothers you or if you plan on fixing that (you can probably just maneuver the grille back into place). You don't need the entire grille, you can just buy the emblem if there isn't any damage to the existing holes/notches for the emblem in the existing grille.

You can definitely epoxy the emblem - I have an aftermarket grille, used my existing emblem and the only way to use get the emblem to stay was to use epoxy. Its been on with no problems for about 4yrs now. I've heard hit or miss stories of the black pearl emblem since most of them are only available as aftermarket items on eBay.

There is also this option from a reputable aftermarket seller:

Thanks for the advice. The bottom portion of the grill, although cracked, has been pulled back into place and shouldn’t be a problem. I ordered a new emblem and now I’m just trying to find the retainers that hold the emblem in place. They appear to be simple starlock washers that I can buy from a hardware store.
