Default Brake clearance on wheels

I know the 4gs has big front calipers. My question is, will a med disc wheel clear the calipers up front? Or do they need to be high disc to clear? I have tried searching with no luck in finding an answer...

Wheels I'm about to purchase are 19x10 +20 all 4

Thanks in advance for your input

Having another car with Brembo's, I'm pretty impressed with the Lexus front calipers on our IS350, which I assume are the same as on your GS. They are huge, and I wouldn't risk fitting any wheel that wasn't designed with a high pad height. I'm running a set of lightweight 17" Enkei PF01's (shown below), which feature a fairly generous spoke design for large brakes, and there are only a few millimeters of clearance. It appears that if the wheels you purchase are stated to clear Brembo brake calipers, they should fit your GS.

I'm buying them used coming off a 2gs. Not local so I can't test for them to make sure they clear.

I'm not too familiar with Lexus model interchangeability, but you might want to check with Sasnuke over on the 3rd Gen IS forum. He's a genius when it comes to these vehicles and wheel fitment.
