Default Tire Pressure Sensor for Full Size Spare

Vehicle is a 2016 GS.

I had an irreparable flat in my newish Michelin PS4s. The shop could not order an exact replacement (nor could I find one at Tire Rack etc..) so they ordered an all season Pilot Sport 4 to get me on the road. The road hazard insurance covered that one.

I found a PS4s on ebay and to not waste the PS4 all season, I bought a matching spare wheel to have a full size spare.

Does the TPMS allow me to program an additional 5th sensor or should I just place a standard non-tpms tire valve on the spare? I can use Techstream but not sure if it's worth it if it can't save the 5th sensor and I would need to swap the sensor in the system if the spare is used.

Thanks for any help!

Bump...I guess no one has a full size spare? What is the contingency in the system for those who have two sets of wheels for snow tires?

I guess I will just start with a standard non TPMS valve for now.

They have full size spare tire in other markets, I've seen pictures of it. You end up with a big bump in the trunk floor and Lexus has a floor cover for it.

I should have clarified, I am not looking to carry the full size spare in the trunk, just have it in the garage. I just need to know if its possible to program the extra tire pressure sensor alongside the 4 active wheels or if it needs to take the place of another sensor (through programming) each time its used.

I think the full size spare in the markets that have it have tpms and it displays on the dash. Probably check techstream if there is anything for that.

I miss the security of having a full size spare in the car. Now that I've seen what that would look like, thanks but no thanks! In fact it looks like it doesn't even use the existing well for the emergency doughnut.
